Chinese-born chef owner Chef Yi "Ricky" Wang has dedicated his career to the culinary arts. Honing his craft over 20 years, his career has seen him working alongside the world class chefs at Sushi Nakazawa and after at minibar by Jose Andres.
Now, Chef Ricky brings his love for sushi to the Capitol Hill neighborhood with Omakase @ Barracks Row with a tasting menu seated communally at an elegant sushi bar with two seatings a night.
Showcasing a constant rotation of seasonal flavors, Chef Ricky's concept consists of small dishes inspired by Japanese otsumami, followed by a nigiri tasting experience totaling about twenty courses.
